This is a great way to get started venerating your Ancestors! I have spent years researching and studying the history of spirituality and the conversation of Ancestor veneration. I have pinpointed my own family history, patterns and situations of how souls become our Ancestors. This validates events in our family and observe to maintain traditions and break chains of pain all in one.
Do not play with spirits. This is not recommended if your intentions are not sound and are experimenting with the dead. It is disrespectful and dangerous, because your intention attract the energy you carry. Spirits are in places where we cannot follow, and are hard to rid of when they become a nuisance. Do not call on spirits ONLY to ask for favors. Spirits are not Uber, or the pizza delivery guys. They will be there when you call, but do not slam the door on them once you receive what you want; it's disrespectful; karmatically, disrespect is repaid by consequences. Next, do not forget an offering. If you paid the pizza man, and your Uber driver, you must repay your ancestors and have the same respect. When an offering is not given, a reversal of your request, a denial of request, or no signs of help can occur. Lastly, things will begin to go south until an offering is satisfied.
Did you know, The last witchcraft trial in Connecticut happened in 1697, where the charges against Wallingford residents Winnifred Benham and her teenage daughter were dismissed. The last recorded accusation of witchcraft in the state is against Colchester resident Sarah Spencer, who was determined by magistrates to be innocent and awarded damages. The trial of Connecticut Colony laws were updated in 1715, at which time witchcraft continued to be listed as a capital crime. The crime of witchcraft disappeared from the list of capital crimes when the laws were next printed in 1750. Let's be real, what better way to get back at those who burned witches during the Salem Trials!

When considering reading Tarot cards we have to consider the impact of the meaning behind the cards. There is a balancing of Major Arcana, and Minor Arcana. These parallel worlds exist at the same time and are intertwined within one another. The Major Arcana are 22 cards depicting a Fool's journey throughout the natural stages of life until death and judgement. The Minor Arcana cards are 56 mundane symbols of everyday life. These are the day to day details of our situation. What about reading reversed? In short, reversed meaning is always the removal or opposite of the original meaning. "As above, as so below", is the rule of thumb for reversed symbols.
Who can read Tarot? Anyone on all reading levels can read Tarot. Tarot is offered in all languages including braille. There are Tarot cards fitting for children as well. They can be integrated into all cultures and religions. Tarot is fashioned just like the clothes in the store, unique to size, shape, color, and style.
